When not teaching, Yui spends her time as a visual artist, hunting for vintage treasures and raising her daughter alongside her husband.

Sarah Case

Certified Pilates Instructor

Sarah Case is a Balanced Body comprehensively trained, certified Pilates instructor and Integrated Movement Specialist. Sarah originally came to Pilates years ago in hopes of alleviating low back pain and combatting the effects of long hours working at a desk (she’s a former nonpartisan political analyst).  Little did she know that Pilates would play a new role in her life years later, when it helped her recover from two abdominal surgeries for severe endometriosis. As she worked to heal and strengthen her post-surgical body, she rediscovered what Joseph Pilates called “the complete coordination of body, mind, and spirit” from the most fundamental exercises on up. Her passion for Pilates grew through this process of healing, as did her understanding of how the method offers so much for every body, at any stage. No matter what you’re working on with her in the studio, she’s focused on making the experience empowering, safe, and above all, fun!

When Sarah is not in the studio, you can find her absorbed in a novel, spoiling her cats, or taking a walk with her husband.

carli cole

Certified Pilates Instructor

Carli started practicing Pilates at Native Pilates as a way to reduce stress. She instantly connected with the warm, welcoming environment, the supportive instructors, and the sense of authenticity she felt in the space—it was the first place that truly stuck.

In the fall of 2024, she became a certified Pilates instructor through the Native Pilates teacher training program and officially joined the Native team. She loves working with beginners and believes that Pilates is for every body and every age. As an instructor, she’s passionate about helping clients feel safe, supported, and empowered—reminding them that showing up and moving with compassion is more important than chasing perfection.

She also manages the social media for Native Pilates, bringing her signature bubbly personality and creativity to everything she shares.

Outside the studio, she’s a professional home organizer with The Tidy Home Nashville. When she’s not working, she’s a happy homebody spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Honey and Raisin.

Adrienne felder

Certified Pilates Instructor

Adrienne began enjoying the benefits of pilates at the age of 12, as it was introduced into her ballet training. At 13, she moved with her parents and younger brother from the Cascade Mountains to the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. After college at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, she began her Pilates certification knowing that her Pilates addiction should be shared to enrich others lives.

After teaching pilates full time for 3 years, Adrienne and her husband Jesse moved to Whitefish,Montana where they opened, owned and operated the Stillwater Fish House, a seafood restaurant. Teaching pilates within the beauty of the Rocky Mountains kept her centered and healthy while running the restaurant, birthing 4 healthy babies at home and connecting to their mountain community through great food, amazing hospitality and the active pilates lifestyle.

Adrienne has two decades of experience training bodies for functional fitness, specific athletic training from land to sea, as well as therapeutic training for injury prevention and post rehabilitation.

Adrienne loves enriching her clients lives with the goal for all bodies to move with ease, strength and balance. She moved to Mount Juliet with her family in 2021 so her husband could pursue his songwriting career in Music City. You’ll most likely findAdrienne outdoors in the woods, or on the lake, by a campfire or in her garden with her munchkins nearby.

Heather McAlister

Certified Pilates Instructor, Pre/Postnatal Specialist

Heather is a health coach, aerialist, classically trained Pilates instructor, and Studio Manager at Native Pilates. With a background in dance, she was introduced to Pilates at a young age and quickly developed an appreciation for its focus on strength, alignment, and mindful movement.

After moving to Chicago and working at a Pilates studio, Heather deepened her connection to the practice. Managing lower back pain and navigating life in a hypermobile body inspired her to study movement more intentionally and understand how to move with greater stability and control.

Her passion for Pilates grew even stronger when she joined the local aerial arts group, Suspended Gravity. She discovered that Pilates not only complemented her aerial training but also helped prevent injuries and improved her overall movement efficiency.

Heather received her Pilates certification through the Native Pilates Teacher Training Program, further deepening her connection to the studio and its approach to movement.

Heather approaches Pilates through a holistic mind-body lens and believes that movement should be accessible to everyone. She especially enjoys working with athletes and pre/post natal clients. Heather is dedicated to helping clients build strength, confidence, and body awareness while empowering them to embrace movement and live healthy, balanced lives.

Lauren Ashley

Certified Pilates Instructor

Lauren is a classically trained Pilates instructor, completing her comprehensive training through Native Pilates. She is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher and also holds a second comprehensive certification through Balanced Body. She specializes in helping clients recover from injury and manage chronic pain through precise, intentional movement that restores strength, mobility, and confidence.

Lauren’s journey to Pilates began early, shaped by her background as a competitive gymnast and springboard diver. She was first introduced to Pilates in middle school as a method of cross-training, using it to build strength, stability, and body awareness to support her athletic performance.

After years of intensive training—and later navigating her own complex health challenges—Lauren reconnected with Pilates through physical therapy. Having experienced its transformative role firsthand in injury rehabilitation and chronic pain recovery, she developed a deep appreciation for the method not just as exercise but as a powerful tool for healing.

Her approach centers on helping clients reconnect with their bodies. Through focused, intelligent movement, she guides them toward greater resilience, efficiency, and empowerment—supporting not just recovery, but long-term strength and confidence in how they move through life.
